TELEFÓNICA BUILDING

Today I have been analyzing the sustainability of a building for the subject Arquitectura y Medio Ambiente: Telefónica Building.

This project is in Las Tablas and it has an area of 390,000 square meters.

It has the following environmental characteristics:

- Roof covering the Campus (coated with photovoltaic panels that cover 18% of the consumption of the complex, and shaded facades)
- Materials that are able to minimize power consumption (the glass is a recyclable material).
- It allows significant savings in air conditioning (15% in winter and 30% in summer).
- It has 16000 photovoltaic panels on the roof.
- Noise pollution is reduced using vegetation.

See u!
